This 372-acre park offers guests a network of trails that wind throughout the park. Stop by the park’s visitor’s center to find self guided tour brochures of the park that explain the area’s history, restoration efforts and diverse animal and plant life.
Find over 7 miles of trails that are marked by distinctive logos to help you get around. For a .6-mile easy walk find the FROG logo and take the Bosque Trail, a great introduction to the area’s landscape. For a 1.5-mile journey to the park’s interior, find the DUCK logo and take the Wetland Trail, where you can overlook the wetland and finish with a stroll along the old river channel. For a longer journey find the DRAGONFLY logo, take the Rio Trail where you can do a 2.4-mile walk and get the best views of the wetlands and the parks’ varied habitats.
