Described as being “an oasis in the desert,” this State Park and Historic Site is sure to provide fun for the entire family. Offering education, experience and excitement in one, Hueco Tanks is located just outside of El Paso and has become a favorite to rock climbers. But Hueco Tanks isn’t just for rock climbers, the vast area of land allows for hiking, camping and educational tours.

Visitors can choose to self-explore or participate in scheduled activities such as: “Pictograph Tours”, “Bouldering and Hiking Tours” as well as “Birding Tours”. Reservations are strongly recommended.
