Not only does the Railroad & Transportation Museum display a restored version of the 1857 4-4-0 “Classic American” locomotive, but it also tells the story of the construction of the second transcontinental railroad through El Paso as well as the lives and jobs of railroad workers and the role that railroads played during wartime.
