Every Spring, wildlife demonstrations, educational exhibits and nature talks make up the annual Franklin Mountains Poppies Celebration. It is held on Castner Range, free of charge and sponsored by The El Paso Museum of Archeology, the Franklin Mountains State Park and the Franklin Mountains Wilderness Coalition.
